is an annual holiday that is celebrated on the 25th december on the birth of jesus. Christmas is the time of traditions of things like gift giving, displays of decorations with the christmas tree being the most famous, lights, nativity scenes, mistletoe, holly etc and the most important an childrens eyes is SANTA CLAUS.Christmas is a holiday that is celebrated world wide but is also a major event for retailers as its the time where people spend most of their money as its a time of giving and receiving.
North pole is where santa and all his little elves make all the toys for all the children the night before christmas just in time for when they wake up in the morning for their presents under the tree which Rudolph and the other reindeers delivered in their slay.
Bt in Spain they dont celebrate Christmas like we do, instead of santa they have the 3 kings and they celebrate this on the 6th of January.
Chrismas in Holland is celebrated on the 5th December and is sinterklass Eve and santa is known as St. Nicholas. Frmers in Holland blow long horns at sunset each evening during the Christmas period. They are blown over water wells so that they are extra load to tell people the coming of Christmas.
Papai Noel is the gift bringer in Brazil, when he arrives in Brazil he wears silk clothes because of the summer heat.

Dairy farming is the milking of cows everyday. The cows are milked early in the morning in the automatic mailking machine where they are standing with clusters connected to them which is connected to the milk machine which is then transported into the milk lorry. When all this is going on the cow is fed cow feed to distract it and to keep it quiet from all the other stuff going on in the surroundings so that it doesnt disturb the milk flow. The millking parlours are sterelised everyday so thet the cell counts wont be up too high as then the milk cant be sent away and will have to be thrown out instead and then you cant receive any money for your hard work. The cows are then milked in the evening time again and their udders are sprayed with a moisturising liquid and water.

my blog is mainly going to be aimed at dairy farming.

In Ireland there is currently i.3 million dairy cows bein milked across the country twice a day. There are many breeds of these cows that produce the milk that we drink daily. Some of these are friesians which are probably the most popular, jerseys, shorthorns, kerry and ayrshires.

Most dairy farms, sell their male calves when they are young and keep the female calves so that they can be raised and then later added to the milking herd and later can have calves of their own, usually wishing for heifier calves as there worth more.

Farming is basically an area of land that is managed in a certain way so that you can make an income off it. Its mainly down to producing and managing food so that you can earn off that or else whatever food you produce througout the year etc is put back into the farm by means of livestock e.g the better the built cow the better the price you will get in the mart and so on.

as seen in this picture where its used for commercial reasons where its probably kept in doors and fed about 2 to 3 times a day!!
