my blog is mainly going to be aimed at dairy farming.

In Ireland there is currently i.3 million dairy cows bein milked across the country twice a day. There are many breeds of these cows that produce the milk that we drink daily. Some of these are friesians which are probably the most popular, jerseys, shorthorns, kerry and ayrshires.

Most dairy farms, sell their male calves when they are young and keep the female calves so that they can be raised and then later added to the milking herd and later can have calves of their own, usually wishing for heifier calves as there worth more.
